Dr. Lord, will you tell me a story?
Once upon a time there was an angel, and he made a mistake and did some bad things. Once he realized his mistake he worked real hard to be good again and that took a long time. Once he had to make up the truth about who and what he was, and it hurt him to live with such a lie and in the end it literally tore him apart. Sometimes it still hurts.
But that's all behind him now. Now he tries to help people find the truth, and some people need more help than others. Sometimes they don't even have to talk to him. Sometimes he helps them dream about the truth. Best of all, sometimes people find the truth for themselves.
But, doesn't the truth hurt?
It can, but eventually a lie hurts so much more.
Now hush, Angela, it's about time you were asleep.
